Maggie Grace (born Margaret Grace Denig on 21 September 1983) is an American actress, best well-known for her role in the roles of Shannon Rutherford on the ABC television show Lost as well as Kim Mills in the Taken trilogy. She was born in Worthington, Ohio and dropped out of school after her parents separated to go in Los Angeles to live with her mother. Though she struggled financially in 2001, her debut came in the role of Rachel's Room's primary character. The actress was able to secure a Young Artist Award nomination in 2002, for her role as fifteen-year-old victim Martha Moxley in the television film Murder which aired in Greenwich. Grace Rutherford was the main actor in Lost during its initial two seasons. In 2004 she received the Screen Actors Guild Award with all of the ensemble. After leaving the show, Grace would like to be on film more frequently, having played opposite Tom Welling in The Fog in 2005. She starred as Kim Mills opposite Liam Neeson (both in Taken in 2008) on Suburban Girl as well as the Jane Austen Book Club. Taken 2 (2012), Taken 3 2014 and Taken 4 (2014) were her reprises of the characters. Grace performed the role of Shannon on the finale episode, as well as two additional episodes. She was in 2013 for the sixth season of Californication. She plays Faith as a girl who acts as a muse to the stars and catches the attention to Hank Moody (David Duchovny). In 2002, she starred as a character on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. The actress also starred on Mona Lisa Smile (2003). The leading roles of Gyllenhaal in Secretary, an erotico-romantic comedy, and Sherrybaby (a drama) have earned her nominations to the Golden Globe Award. The Dark Knight, which was released in 2008 after several highly successful films including World Trade Center (2006) and World Trade Center (2006), earned Gyllenhaal more fame. As an unmarried mother, in Crazy Heart (2009) she received a nomination for Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. In the following years, she played in comedies and dramas such as Nanny McPhee's Big Bang (2010) Hysteria 2011 and Won't Back Down 2012 Apart from her character as a Secret Service agent, she was also seen in White House Down (2013) and Frank (2014).
